THE MERCURY PROJECT

Sixteen weeks. Four seasons. One project, moved through
at the pace the cosmos sets.

A group coaching programme for practitioners who are ready
to work with natural timing rather than against it.

Mercury takes 116 days to complete its cycle around the sun. In that time, a project can move from quiet conception through curious inquiry, into full momentum, and arrive at harvest. Three complete cycles in a calendar year. Three projects, each one held inside its own natural season.

The Mercury Project is a 16-week group coaching programme structured around exactly this cycle. Not as metaphor, but as a working framework. Sharyn with a Why has drawn on both her years as a corporate project manager and her practice as an astrologer and breathwork facilitator to build something that treats cosmic timing as a practical tool, not a mystical one.

Eight gatherings. Four phases. One project that is genuinely yours.

THE CYCLE

working with the grain of things

Mercury’s cycle has four distinct seasons, and each one asks something different of the person working within it.

Winter is for sitting with the idea. For letting it take shape before asking it to move. Spring is for inquiry, for research, for testing the edges of what the project might become. Summer is for momentum, for doing the work, for building. Autumn is for harvest, for completing, for releasing what did not belong to this project after all.

Most project management tools skip winter entirely. This one begins there.

THE PRACTICE

breathwork woven throughout

Every gathering includes time to breathe. Not as a warm-up, not as an add-on, but as the thread that runs through everything.

Breath opens what thinking alone cannot reach. In a programme that asks you to trust timing, to sit inside uncertainty, and to allow a project to show you its shape, that matters. You will come into each session through breath. You will leave with more than notes.
Eight gatherings over sixteen weeks, two per phase. Each session runs for two hours and follows the same gentle shape: an Opening Circle to meet the current cosmic energy, a Sharing Space to celebrate what has moved and witness what has not, time breathing together, and a space for questions and individual coaching within the group.

Sessions are held online via Zoom. Recordings are available throughout the programme for anyone who cannot attend live, though showing up live carries its own quality that recording cannot hold.

Between sessions, participants have direct message access to Sharyn with a Why and a private group space for connection and ongoing support.

The programme runs across four phases, each one corresponding to a season of the Mercury cycle. Winter begins in quiet. Spring opens into curiosity. Summer moves into action. Autumn brings things to ground.

complete Mercury cycles in a calendar year

Mercury leads the whole cycle as primary guide, bringing the invitations and shaping the timing. But Mercury does not work alone.

In spring, Venus brings the questions of values, beauty, and resource. What does this project need? What does it love? Mars arrives to move things from planning into action, lending courage where hesitation has been sitting.

Summer belongs to the Sun and Jupiter. The Sun clarifies and sustains. Jupiter opens outward into growth, though it also brings the invitation to notice where expansion tips into overextension.

Autumn holds Saturn and Uranus in an unlikely pairing. Saturn insists on structure, on completion, on the discipline of actually finishing. Uranus introduces the unexpected, the left-field discovery, the thing that arrives and changes the shape of what you thought you were building.

The cycle uses all of them. Every season has its collaborator, and every collaborator has something specific to say to the project you are carrying.
