TEA AND TENDING
There is a way to build something real without losing
the thread of why you started.
There is a way to build something real without losing
the thread of why you started.
Most of us know how to care for others.
We know the shape of a held space, the weight of someone else’s need, the particular tiredness that comes from giving what we have not yet given ourselves.
TEA and Tending begins from a different place entirely.
Not from the assumption that something is wrong, or that you are running low and need to be topped up. It begins with the quiet belief that you are not broken. That you do not need to be overhauled or pushed into a better version of yourself. That what is needed, more often than not, is simply a gentler quality of attention, turned inward, held with patience, allowed to breathe.
This is not passive work. It is the oldest and most honest kind of tending, rooted in Celtic wisdom and the rhythms of the natural world, and carried always in the spirit of *go mall agat féin*.
Slowly, gently. At your own pace. No urgency. No fixing.
Just the quiet, faithful act of returning to yourself.
go mall agat féin
Go gently with yourself. This is not a closing phrase at The Exhale Awakening. It is a working instruction.
The tending work we offer to others can only run as deep as the tending we offer ourselves. Not because something is depleted. But because the quality of our own attention – the steadiness of it, the patience of it – is what we carry into the room.
TEA and Tending asks what it would mean to attend to yourself with the same faithfulness you bring to the people in your care.
it is not only practitioners who need this
Those who hold space for others – facilitators, coaches, carers in any form – know well how easy it is to keep moving without ever pausing to ask how they are.
But this branch is not only for practitioners. It is for anyone who has been carrying something and would like, for a while, to put it down. For anyone who has been told they must always be further along. For anyone who suspects that what they need is not more doing, but more listening.
TEA and Tending is an invitation to that listening.
A regular gathering that follows the lunar rhythm. Tracking the moon, the skies, and the astrological weather with Sharyn with a Why, so that members are never moving through the week without knowing what the heavens are holding.

TEA and Tending lives under the For Practitioners branch of The Exhale Awakening, alongside TEA and Business and TEA and the Craft. If you are a practitioner, a graduate, or someone exploring what it might mean to train with us, the full programme detail is waiting for you there.
If you would like to begin somewhere quieter first, the Midweek Exhale is always open.
This is an invitational wellbeing practice and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. You choose your pace and may rest at any time. If you have medical concerns, please consult a qualified professional.
