AS THE LIGHT CHANGES:
HONOURING THE TURNING OF THE WHEEL
Eight times a year, at each threshold of the Celtic calendar,
a gentle online ritual to mark the season. To pause, to notice,
and to let the breath and the land speak.
HONOURING THE TURNING OF THE WHEEL
Eight times a year, at each threshold of the Celtic calendar,
a gentle online ritual to mark the season. To pause, to notice,
and to let the breath and the land speak.
This is not a breathwork session in the way Anchoring the Exhale or The Deeper Exhale are.
It is something quieter than that.
Eight times a year, at the solstices, equinoxes, and the four cross-quarter fire festivals of the Celtic year, a circle gathers online to mark the turning of the wheel. There is some gentle breathwork woven in. There is ritual. There is a moment to notice where the season finds you, and to let that be enough.
The wheel turns whether we mark it or not. As the Light Changes is simply a place to mark it, together.
Each gathering is included in Tier 1 of The Exhale Library. Free. Always.
You can also join a single session for £11 – no membership needed.
Book herethe wheel, the light, and the breath
The Celtic year moves through eight thresholds. Four are the astronomical moments – the winter and summer solstices, the spring and autumn equinoxes. Four are the cross-quarter fire festivals, falling between them: Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lughnasadh.
Each gathering is shaped by the particular wisdom of that moment. What the land is doing. What the light is doing. What the season is quietly asking. The breath moves with all of it.
You do not need to know the Celtic calendar to attend. You only need to be willing to notice the season you are in.

Three Days in the North Yorkshire Hills
The Yorkshire Gathering takes place at The Hawkhills in North Yorkshire — a quietly beautiful venue set in its own grounds, away from the noise of ordinary life.
Three days of breathwork, seasonal practice, rest, and community. The same unhurried approach, the same consent-led space, the same quality of attention that runs through every gathering The Exhale Awakening holds.

Three Days at the Edge of the Land
As the Light Changes is also available as a three-day residential retreat. Twice a year, a small group gathers in person at Malin Head — Ireland’s most northerly point, where the Atlantic meets the cliffs and the autumn light falls long and flat across the headland.
Three days of breathwork, rest, seasonal ritual, nourishing food, and wild landscape. No agenda beyond showing up. No outcome required.
This is the deepest form of As the Light Changes. You arrive one person and leave something has shifted — not because anything was done to you, but because the land and the breath and the circle held you.
